The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) provides a broad understanding of construction related health & safety issues and is an essential qualification for anyone with health & safety responsibilities in the construction industry.

The course is made up of presentations, question and answer sessions, activities and projects.  End of course assessment is a scenario based Open Book Exam completed at home. It will take around 8 hours and you have 48 hours to complete the assessment and return it to NEBOSH.  The tutor will support the learner’s knowledge and understanding by classroom and individual discussion.

NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) qualification is ideal for: construction site managers, contracts managers, site workers with health & safety responsibilities and construction health & safety advisors.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.  NEBOSH recommend that delegates have a minimum standard of English, as they must be able to understand and communicate the concepts in the course content, and complete the written exam and practical assessment. Delegates should have a basic knowledge of health and safety, and an understanding of what happens in their workplace. The information you will need to know for the practical assessment and the exams will be covered in the course.

 If you have any specific learning needs, including dyslexia please let us know before the course.  A good understanding of English is needed.

Are accreditation and examination fees included?

Not if you choose the elearning option – you will need to book your examination separately.  Information on how to do this will be provided as part of your course.  If you attend our Hybrid course accreditation fees and certification fees are included in the course price.

I have dyslexia, or other needs, is there any support available?
We can make reasonable adjustment to support your specific needs: Policy and Procedure for Access Arrangements, Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration
I have a physical disability, what facilities do you have?
Our training centre in Chorley is fully accessible with the main training room located on the ground floor. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor and a wheelchair accessible lift to the first floor.
Is lunch provided?

Yes, within the cost of the course there is a buffet lunch, hot and cold drinks and biscuits for those attending in person.

What payment plan options are available?

If you are attending our Hybrid course and would prefer to split the payment for this course you can pay in 2 or 3 instalments, as long as the final payment is made before you take the exam.  Please call our admin team who can set this up for you.  Please note there is an additional admin fee of £50 added to the first instalment for this option.

How long will I need to wait for my certificate?
The certificates are sent from NEBOSH and can take up to 10 weeks.
When will I find out if I have passed?
NEBOSH will notify learners directly of the assessment results.
What if I do not pass the exam?

Dependant on your results, in line with NEBOSH criteria, you can choose to resit one or both units.  You can also choose to attend another revision day and exam only option.  https://www.nebosh.org.uk/faqs/
