SUMMARY A Fire Safety Advisor works with businesses to help them keep their premises safe from fire by offering advice and education to reduce risk. People in this role also recognise and take appropriate steps when enforcement action may be required.

Individual employers will set their own selection criteria for this apprenticeship. Typically an apprentice might be expected to have achieved or working towards 5 GCSEs A* to C including English and Maths as well as having knowledge to Level 1 equivalent for commonly used office computer applications.

End Point Assessment will consist of 2 elements:
- Workplace observation;
- Structured discussion.
Full support will be provided to candidates during the Gateway period at the end of their Apprenticeship to prepare them for this End Point Assessment.
Total cost = £6000. Employers that do not pay into the levy will contribute 5% (£300).
This is an apprenticeship so is funded through the Employers apprenticeship account. To satisfy the ESFA funding rules the following information must be provided by both parties.
